I saw death today
looking well out of place

Could the dark angel be putting in a shift?
More likely trading his scythe for a spliff,
in the darkened corners of the Rokery.
Contemplating the nature of the Reapers business,
situated somewhere as mellow as this
is proving perplexing at best.
I saw death today.
And was inhaled by a shroud of darkness
within his photo-opportunity embrace.
His chilling hand on my chilled out shoulder.
I smile at the timely reminder of how precious our time is.
I smile for the camera.
Exhaled.
50 cents passes away
into deaths collection plate.
That being the sum of all I am prepared to part with.
FOR NOW
Moving along
canals, vaporiser bong.
We visited Anne Frank’s house so yes I saw death today.
Persecution the vilest form of existence to ever have been suffered.
Persecutor the vilest form of existence to ever have been chosen.
Meandering through the museums exhibits
of our previous pose I catch glimpses.
A month prior to her liberation.
A liberating month long expedition
that us free four have embarked upon.
I figure that we all have a secret place to hide
not everyone’s within the annex to be found behind
a book case doorway, perhaps somewhere inside.
With an abundance of hope,
I hope to open mine up
and no longer take for granted
all the possibilities presented
in this life (TIME).
